Reiki 1
To begin learning Reiki, the starting point is Reiki Level 1. This course is taught in one day and includes the Reiki 1 attunement which opens up your crown chakra to receive the Reiki energy.
During the day you will be taught how to treat yourself and use the traditional hand positions. You will be shown how to carry out a full Reiki treatment, giving you plenty of practice so that you can experience the energy flowing through you and out of your hands. Your hands may feel very hot and tingling as the Reiki starts to flow. Whilst treating yourself and others you will feel different sensations and in time learn what these mean to you and the person you are treating.
The Reiki 1 attunement also opens up your third eye chakra more. This means more psychic awareness and increased intuition. You may begin to notice more than usual, picking up information about others and sense other peoples emotions. Once attuned to Reiki 1 you are attuned for life.
