In a Reiki treatment you are asked to lay on a couch fully clothed.  The Reiki practitioner will lay their hands on, or work in the aura on various places on the body.  It is totally  non intrusive and creates a sense of well being.  The client may feel ‘hot’ or ‘tingling’ sensations from  the practitioners hands as the energy gets to work on the areas where it is needed. This often feels very calming and gives deep relaxation.
